Threat Detector is a Leeds alternative rock/electropunk artist whose lyrical themes explore societal pressures and absolute burnout.

Stemming from the solo project of vocalist/guitarist Eli Griffiths, Threat Detector started to incorporate other band members in 2025. Threat Detector regularly plays full band shows with viola/violinist Gerrard Bell-Fife and drummer Alex Gray, with appearances from other musicians such as lead guitarist Miley K.

Pouring biblical reference and emotional catharsis between synths and violins, ‘Dirty Meat’ (late 2025) explores the contradictions between identity and faith. On hands and knees, Threat Detector devours his sacred heart to be regurgitated, reconstructed and reclaimed as something new.
